India Part 1: Beyond the Golden Triangle

In this week’s episode we interview Philippa Kaye, content creator, entrepreneur, story teller, India travel expert and author of “Escape to India.” She shared with us some of her insights from living and running a business in India as a Westerner for 15 years. We learn about the curiosity and sense of adventure that drove her to discover the real India. Throughout our conversation we discuss the importance of having authentic travel experiences and sustainability in tourism. Phillipa invites us to explore our motivations for traveling to a destination and what we seek to gain over just checking off an item on our bucket list. 

While India may have elements of chaos, travel within the country can be described by the overarching principles of “Guest is God” and the importance of accepting the unpredictable.
